Stockholm: In the midst of the ongoing war in Ukraine, two Russian fighter jets intruded into Swedish airspace. These Sukhoi-27 and Sukhoi-24 fighter aircraft were equipped with nuclear bombs.

According to the report of TV4 Nyheter, during this flight the Russian fighter jet tried to see how long NATO members and neutral countries like Sweden and Finland take to react.

However, the Swedish Air Force was fully alert amidst the Russian incursion and also responded immediately. The Swedish Air Force is on alert in view of the Ukraine war. Meanwhile, it has now been revealed that Russian aircraft were equipped with atomic bombs at the time of infiltration.

Irresponsible, unprofessional behavior by Russia

It has been said in the report that both these Sukhoi aircraft were carrying nuclear weapons at the time of infiltration.

Swedish Air Force chief Karl Johann Idström said: “We believe this is intentional, which is very serious because you are a country that is currently at war.”

Karl Johann said that Russian fighter jets were only in Swedish airspace for a short time, which was probably close to a minute. They then returned to their Russian territory. He said that this was an irresponsible and unprofessional behavior on the part of Russia.

Sweden is not a member of NATO, but the Swedish army has participated in military missions with the army of NATO countries many times. After this revelation, Russia’s fear of nuclear action has increased again in the midst of the Ukraine war.
