News of Russian soldiers invading different parts of Ukraine has shaken the entire world. While several videos show how the people of Ukraine are gearing up to fight Russia, there is a lighthearted incident that occurred during this chaotic situation.
A Twitter user named Olexander Scherba who is Ukraine’s Ambassador to Austria shared a video on Twitter that apparently showed how a Ukrainian farmer stole a Russian tank amid the invasion.
In the said video, a tractor which probably is from Ukraine was pulling a Russian tank on the main road. A man was running along with the tractor and was trying to get into it.
The caption of the video read, “If true, it’s probably the first tank ever stolen by a farmer. Ukrainians are tough cookies indeed.”

People on the internet found this video hilarious. Many even said that even if this wasn’t true, it definitely is making us laugh. One user said, “I so hope this is true. First laugh I’ve had since this horror started last week.” Another user said, “I haven’t laughed this hard in a really long time. That is fantastic!”
With Ukraine closing its airspace after Russia launched the military operation, the Indian government sent teams to the land borders with Ukraine in Hungary, Poland, the Slovak Republic, and Romania to assist in the evacuation of Indian nationals.
Recently, a Russian company named Ukravtodor, in charge of building and maintaining roads, removed all road signs just so that they could confuse Russian troops and delay the invasion of their country.
